Sophie & Megan had been dancing with Spotlight for a few years before Ami took over and renamed the dance school A-Stars. They both love the challenging and new dances that they learn each term, especially the street dances. Ami is a fantastic teacher,she cares about the children and is always encouraging and positive. The girls always say that the classes are relaxed and fun and they both like the fact that they are working towards the annual show. Congratulations Ami on a fantastic first year.

My daughter Abby has been dancing with A* for a year now, since Ami took over from the Spotlight Dance School. Abby is currently dancing in a junior group, but is really looking forward to moving up to an older group next year and doing some more challenging routines. Ami’s classes have a wonderful atmosphere, and although some of the dancers is the group are as young as 4, Ami has no trouble getting them all to join in and feel happy. A* junior dances are as much about fun and exercise as they are about choreography which means that all the children feel part of the group and make their own unique contribution. Ami’s patience and innovation keep all the children focused and involved and all the children feel closely connected to her. The group is friendly and welcoming and provides a perfect start for little dancers to try out all sorts of different musical styles. Thanks Ami for giving Abby such a wonderful introduction to dancing.
